Bob White
Bob has over 33 years of business process and information technology sourcing experience
across a variety of industries. His repertoire includes implementing and managing business
process sourcing contracts, managing large systems-integration projects, leading systems planning
efforts and assisting clients in procurements for large-scale systems and services with a
variety of service providers. Previously as a Partner at TPI, Bob brought special expertise
in business process outsourcing (BPO) and IT outsourcing (ITO) to TPI's clients. Bob has
held a number of leadership and consulting positions with service providers. He has over 15
years of BPO and ITO experience as an executive with service providers such as EDS (now HP),
IBM and Perot Systems.
Bob is experienced at leading sourcing transactions, assessing and evaluating the feasibility
of sourcing transactions and building the financial justification supporting the decision to
source. His industry experience includes health care, government, insurance, retail and large
conglomerates.
Bob’s TPI experience revolved around assisting private and governmental entities with their
business process and information technology needs. While at TPI, Bob advised a large consulting
firm on a full-scope IT sourcing transaction and a benefits administration human resources outsourcing
(HRO) project. He also advised one of the world's leading multinational insurance groups on a
distributed computing sourcing transaction and a data center consolidation project. Bob has also
advised retail, financial services and industrial groups on various sourcing transactions, including
the commercialization of an internal IT department. Bob led the overall project with the Province
of Alberta to develop and validate a sourcing strategy for all Information and Communications Technology
(ICT). Bob also counseled the Province of Ontario, the County of San Luis Obispo and the State of Indiana
on IT assessments and the State of Georgia on a telecommunications sourcing project. For seven years
prior to TPI, Bob assisted clients with a number of large BPO and ITO engagements. He assisted the States
of Idaho, Alabama and Ohio with large BPO efforts and a number of states with complex systems integration
projects.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Alabama
in Huntsville. His areas of concentration were Accounting, Computer Science and Economics.
Bob resides outside of Seneca, South Carolina.
