Shaun Daly
Shaun has over 18 years of information technology outsourcing (ITO) and business process
outsourcing (BPO) experience across a variety of industries, including Public Sector, Travel
and Transportation, Utilities and Energy, Commercial Real Estate, and Healthcare. Shaun has
expertise in the financial aspects of sourcing and has experience as both a supplier and an
advisor, leading and participating in ITO and BPO assessments, transactions, and governance.
Shaun’s skills include developing market assessment and opportunity analysis, base case
financial models, design and definition of the pricing structure, business case analysis,
supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
Shaun’s consulting experience prior to Sourcing Board was with TPI, where he worked with
a number of clients on large, complex multi-tower sourcing deals. Representative client
engagements include the States of Georgia and Texas, an electric utility firm, an airline,
and a real estate development and investment firm. The scope of these engagements included
all information technology functional areas including mainframe, server, end user computing,
application development and maintenance, managed network services, service desk, and an ERP
implementation. In addition, the business processing scope included human resources, finance
and accounting, and supply chain and procurement.
Prior to TPI, Shaun served in positions of increasing responsibility for suppliers of ITO
and BPO services, including Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), Litton Computer Services,
and American Airlines Sabre Computer Services. In these positions, Shaun’s responsibilities
included leading the financial team pursuing new business opportunities as well as mergers
and acquisitions.
Shaun earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Creighton University
and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. Shaun
is ITIL Certified and currently resides in Dallas, Texas.
