Job Summary 

Sourcing Board, an IT staffing agency, is in search of an experienced Recruiter to discover and place talent primarily in North America. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing staffing plans and executing recruitment strategies, is a graceful ambassador, sees the big picture and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities include: 

Utilize recruiting resources to attract qualified IT professionals interested in Sourcing Board’s positions. 

Support clients nationally by identifying top Technical Professionals for contract and temp to perm openings.

Initiate the hiring process for available positions. This may include internet sourcing, initial phone screens, reference checking, and presenting qualified candidates to the IT Delivery Specialist for the remaining steps of the interview process.

Work closely with the hiring managers or production leads to develop a strategy and approach to achieve results which may include upgrading job description(s), interview guidelines, planning and debriefing sessions, social/posting strategy, follow-through and execution.

Creatively leverage Social Media, including but not limited to, LinkedIn, and Twitter to network and build connections within the community of IT Professionals.

Post available positions on the Internet and conduct searches to increase available candidate pool.

Solicit referrals and follow up with potential talent.

Evaluate all resumes received and select only candidates that are appropriate to begin the interview process.

Schedule candidates for interviews.

As the first point of contact for potential candidates, must interact with a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.

Maintain all documentation using Applicant Tracking System to track information.

Maintain and execute detailed reporting around recruiting metrics and industry benchmarks.

Build relationships and pipelines through engagement of active and passive talent using a varied array of tools and resources.

Required Qualifications: 

2-5 years progressive experience in recruitment in the IT field.

Understanding of the recruitment landscape of the IT and consulting fields.

Proven ability to evaluate candidate portfolios and/or resumes with a discerning eye and results.

Experience in full-cycle recruitment, university relations, conducting interviews, and employment branding.

Strong verbal and written communication skills that include the ability to influence, guide and excite internal and external partners, in all types and levels of information.

Thrives on innovation, experimentation with social, promotion and sourcing techniques.

Enjoys problem solving in a fast-paced and changing environment with curiosity, humor and grace.

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Social platforms.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
